Originally part of a nomadic group seeking food and safety in the early years after the apocalypse. Attacked while travelling with family in the Sierra foothills, the zombie virus overcame him while he was still in full flight from his undead attacker. His intended first victim, however, turned out to be a true psychic, with whose strength of will he found enough of his own strength to become Unbroken. Now a practiced surgeon and chiropractor, Case runs a clinic in the former candy store of Old Town Sacramento with service for the living and the undead. Services for the Unbroken include sterilization and closing of open wounds (for the sake of the smell) and bone fusion (to regain the use of broken limbs)
